Hey, I'm Ateeb.
I'm a senior full-stack and product engineer, and my best work happens where systems meet: keeping identity, payments, customer data, third-party platforms, and the interface consistent, especially when requirements are incomplete or an external API behaves in ways its docs don't mention.
How I work
I work on products where multiple systems have to agree with each other. I lead architecture and technical delivery at Studio93 and stay hands-on with implementation — reviewing work, mentoring engineers, breaking requirements into shippable pieces, and helping get products through release. I work across frontend, backend, integrations, payments, identity, data, and production systems.
I write down decisions, trade-offs, and handoff notes, so async teams don't have to wait on me.

Location and hours
I'm based in Lahore, Pakistan (PKT, UTC+5). My working day overlaps US mornings on both coasts: 7pm in Lahore is 10am in New York and 7am in San Francisco during US daylight saving time (9am and 6am in winter). I'm comfortable working async-first, with daily live overlap for standups, reviews, and pairing.
Selected work
- STNDRD (Chris Bumstead's fitness app). I led web engineering and a team of two engineers. The web platform has served 10K+ active subscribers for over two years, and I designed the staged migration that moved thousands of legacy members across Stripe, RevenueCat, and Firebase without losing access on web or mobile.
- My Fit Foods. Technical lead and sole backend developer for a mobile ordering channel built inside an existing Shopify operation, using the Storefront, Customer Account, and Admin APIs. Live since September 2026, it processed about $10K in orders a day in its launch week with no launch promotion. The backend has 153 passing tests.
- Playbook AI Workout Builder. I led an internal tool that generates multi-week training programs one day at a time with LangGraph, keeps staff in review, and exports into Playbook's existing platform schema. Shipped and used internally.
- Verric. My independent product for explainable email verification, with 204 passing backend tests. Private, and I'm happy to walk through it live.
- Codebase MCP. An open-source local MCP server that gives AI clients indexed access to a project's code, documents, and Git history. Source on GitHub.
